I believe we have to start from cultural change. Steve Jobs said what made Apple stand out from the rest is "good taste", and he is right. I remember that at the early stage of the internet and email communication, there was talk of developing some kind of protocol or etiquette, but soon everyone forgot about it. Perhaps things moved so fast, we just got overwhelmed. Technology has outsmarted us. Religion that promotes humility and self sacrifice is another thing. The third way (middle way) to which you subscribe is also commendable (must be hard, when people see things as black and white). In short, it all starts from the heart, not the mind. Supposing we can combine all these : the third way encompassing art, culture, good taste, protocol, etiquette, religion, etc. Maybe that's how God works His Way.
